For the next two weeks (Nov 13 & 20), we are asking everyone to bring canned goods (no glass or expired items) to donate to the St. Louis Food Bank. As many of us are looking forward to eating on Thanksgiving, let’s make sure we can help others get food too.

We set a goal of collecting 100 cans! Help us reach that goal

Tonight we had the AWANA store and clubbers had the chance to redeem their AWANA shares for some great prizes!

Meanwhile, we finally found another TV to use so the Cubbies could have a quick movie to enjoy!

This upcoming Friday is Bring a Friend Night, so if you’ve had a friend/neighbor/classmate that you’ve wanted to invite, this is a Friday to do it!

It’s been a busy first few months to start the year, but we finally had some times to take pictures of the night!

Tonight it was Dress Like Your Parents Night, so we saw some nice ties!

Hey, we got some new scooters for Games! The T&T boys and girls had a chance to try them out!

Just a reminder that this week is Bring a Friend Night! Have you been meaning to invite that friend of yours? Well this week is a great week to go ahead and bring them along!

Sorry no pictures this week! We were too busy running around on our first night, but we were excited to see so many new and returning faces (both clubbers and coworkers). Be patient with us these first few weeks as we get things running again!

We made an announcement about our new offering project for this semester, which is Crossing Borders – an organization dedicated to providing aid for North Korean refugees in China. It’s a competition between the Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T groups to see who can raise the most money. Let’s see who wins!

It’s been a great summer, but we’re really looking forward to starting up AWANA again.

Just a reminder, we start this Friday (9/11) at 7:30pm. If you haven’t registered yet, you’ll want to make sure you come extra early to do so!

It’s still summer, but we’re definitely looking forward to and preparing for next year!

Part-time positions are definitely available to help in the class, games, or administration and we challenge parents and others to raise their hands to help train the future generation of believers.

I know you probably are too busy enjoying your summer break to care about finances, but just wanted to share some good news.

We worked a lot harder this year to make sure we used our money wisely and it definitely showed when we did our year-end financial analysis. In the end, this means that we’ll be reducing club fees to $25/clubber next year!

Our AWANA year came to a close this week and we celebrated with some ice cream!

Parents – Just a reminder that during the summer, there will still be a children’s ministry program held at SLCCC on Friday nights! Even though AWANA is taking a summer break, that doesn’t mean that our walk with God should!
